Regular physical exercise can improve menopausal symptoms.

A team of researchers from Spain looked at 2 groups of women aged 55-72 years. One group were asked to take regular supervised exercise for 3 hours each week and the other group took no regular exercise. The women who exercised reported an improvement in their menopausal symptoms by a quarter whlist those taking no exercise found their problems increased by nearly 10%.
So exercise looks useful to reduce menopausal symptoms, as well as the other health benefits.
